Burnley's star, Ashley Barnes is in a terrific form heading into their meeting with Liverpool this weekend, and Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp will hope he is not at his best.
Klopp even made a funny suggestion that he could sign him last season, according to the Burnley star forward.
The Red fans were counting on Barnes as one of their few hopes in last season's Premier League title race, as they wrestle with Manchester City for the top spot only to fall just short at the end.
And ahead of Burnley's clash with Man City in late April, Liverpool manager got in touch with the forward.
Ahead of the game, Barnes who has scored four goals for Burnley this season told Burnley Express, "I’ve had a few messages yesterday from Liverpool fans making a joke of it but it’s all good,"
"Klopp has even given me a sly text to say that if I score he might sign me for next season – so I might be on the move!"
Unfortunately for Klopp and Reds fans, Barnes failed to score as City earned a 1-0 win through a Sergio Aguero strike, which only just crossed the line with few millimeters. Thanks to goal line technology.
Manchester City went on to win the league, which would have gone down well with Barnes' son.

"I probably have more Liverpool friends, but my seven-year-old son, Flynn, is a massive Man City fan," he said in the same interview.
"He isn't happy, he’s already said, ‘Come on Dad, serious.’
"But I said ‘Sorry son, I’ve got to do my job.’ Surely, he won’t be supporting Burnley. He will be a City mad fan.
"As soon as I get back to see him after the game, he’ll be kicking me that’s for sure. I don’t think I’m his favourite at the moment. I’m not a favourite of his, that’s for sure and kids always tell you the truth."
If Barnes can find the net against Liverpool then he'll definitely be in his son's good books.
